Factory Scheduled Service Recommendations

Like most car and truck owners, you know that performing scheduled preventative maintenance will extend the life of your investment and could reduce costly vehicle repairs. If you do not know your car's factory service recommendations, please call us.

As rule of thumb, we suggest an oil change every 3,000 to 5,000 miles or every 3 months. Complete factory service should be performed at 15,000, 30,000, 60,000, 90,000 miles, and then every 30,000 miles. If your driving habits put substantial strain on the drive train, we recommend you shorten the vehicle maintenance schedule to every 15,000 mile. Do you drive fewer than 12,000 annually?

Consider doing your scheduled preventive maintenance every 12 months, as some vehicle parts may be effected by age.

The Car Care Council has developed a service interval schedule to provide general guidelines for the regular maintenance of most passenger cars, mini vans, pickups and SUVs. The service intervals are built around an oil change every 3,000 miles, an accepted recommendation for the majority of motorists who are severe service drivers. We suggest you always consult your vehicle's owner's manual for their specific factory service recommendations

Every 3 months or 3,000 miles

Every 6 months or 6,000 miles = Same as 3 month check, Plus

Every 9 months or 9,000 miles = Same as 3 month check

Every 12 months or 12,000 miles
